What is GenerOZity? What is a Guerilla Popup Charity?
?????. For more information, visit https://charity.generozity.com.au/.
Guerilla means we are independent and small. We're not affiliated with any single other charity, and raise funds are a large number of causes.
What charities has GenerOZity raised money for?
Childsplay Charity, Checkpoint Organisation, Cure Cancer Australia, Fire & Rescue Services (RFS/CFA). GenerOZity publishes a record of the money raised on our blog.
How much of the money raised do you give away? How do you cover operating costs?
All proceeds are given to charity (GenerOZity has raised over $115,000, and given away every cent). Our operating costs are covered by sponsorships, and we've kept those costs low. Thanks to our unpaid volunteers (Board members work pro-bono).
Is GenerOZity a charity with deductible gift recipient (DGR) status?
As of January 2020, GenerOZity is a Not-for-profit organisation - not an entity or fund that can offer tax deductible receipts on donations. We are working with the ACNC to become a registered Charity in the next few months.
Can you make mistakes?
No, just happy little accidents.
